Woon Productions presents the seventh episode in our series titled, Special Delivery, documenting the friends, collaborators, and extended family who help make Woon what it is. From artists to antique collectors, each Special Delivery episode spotlights someone from our community who inspires us.

In this episode, we visit our childhood friend and founder of her self-titled womenswear label, Chelsea Mak. Chelsea Mak is an eponymous womenswear label designed in Los Angeles and handcrafted in Shanghai. Uncommon material choices—primarily deadstock silks sourced from local markets—and smart silhouettes toe the line between rebellion and formality; tradition and the avant-garde; femininity and androgyny. Working closely with a beloved, old-school master tailor in Shanghai, Chelsea Mak creates pieces perennial by design and produced in small quantities.

Chelsea and I grew up together and built both of our brands together around the same time, rooted in our own heritage. It's been very fun to see how Chelsea Mak has grown and evolved along with our personal lives and families. Hope you enjoy this episode!
