Last Wednesday we hosted Fly By Jing for a one-night only pop up featuring a collaboration menu filled with Fly By Jing chili crisp and noodles. It was a blast to say the least. We are so honored to have partnered with Jing, whom we met in the early days of Woon. We can proudly say we were one of the first accounts to carry their chili crisp in 2019 and it has come full circle to be able to partner on such a fun event.

Woon & LOQUI present a SideWOK Taco Party! We can’t wait to host our friends from LOQUI on the Woon Filipinotown SideWOK on Friday, October 2nd from 5–9 p.m. We’ll be debuting a Wok-Fired Carne Asada Taco, featuring LOQUI’s carne asada marinated in Woon’s Stir Fry Sauce and Wok Legend’s Seasoning Salt, topped with an Asian slaw and Woon Mama’s Way Hot Sauce, and finished with LOQUI’s charred chile crema. We’ll also be serving LOQUI's chips and guacamole with Woon’s Chili Crisp, a slushie Shochu Margarita, a complimentary fruit cart, mariachi from 7-8pm, and a DJ spinning throughout the evening. Following the party, the Wok-Fired Carne Asada Taco will only be available at LOQUI Arts District from Saturday, October 3 through Tuesday, October 6. Come join our fiesta!

We are very excited to be collaborating on a menu with our favorite chili crisp friends, Fly By Jing!! A very fun fact, Woon was one of the first few accounts to carry and sell Fly By Jing when they launched in 2019! We even served Jing’s original chili crisp on our ice cream bao dessert…it was so yum. Fast forward, FBJ is now the leading chili crisp brand and we are honored to be hosting them at Woon Pasadena on September 30th for a fun-filled collaboration menu. The menu will be available all day from 12-9pm, and Jing will be joining us for dinner from 5-9pm. So come early to try the menu, and join us later to party with Jing! Hope to see you there.

Little Moon Bakehouse is popping up at Woon Pasadena this coming Sunday, September 20th from 10am - 2pm to help us celebrate Mid Autumn Festival early. Annie makes the most amazing mooncakes and pastries, and this is your rare chance to try them in person!!! Join us from 10am - 12pm for Little Moon pastries, coffee & tea time then from 12pm - 2pm for our Lunch service and Little Moon pastries for dessert.

You know Ronnie? Oh, you don't? That sucks. He's the other half of the band, Friction (reference Woon Tunes Vol. 23 . He used to work at Woon and was probably our most improved line cook. You can find him now at Courage Bagels calling people's names for their order. This is his finale.

WE can’t wait to welcome back snacks by Largwa to Woon Pasadena’s Brunch on August 29 + 30! They’ll be taking over our pastry case with Strawberry Cream Bolo Baos, Chinese Almond Cookies, Five Spice Madeleines, L’oreos, and Shrek Cake!!

We will be taking Pre-orders in addition to walk-in orders. Pre-orders on our site start on Monday, August 24th.

It’s going to be a Woon noodle party in Altadena every Sunday at Good Neighbor Bar starting next week for 6 weeks straight! We’ll be setting up our woks on the patio to cook up our Homestyle Chewy Noodles. Bring the fam, Kid’s Noodles will be available along with our signature Beef Noodles and Veggie Noodles (vegan).
